Travelodge has a slight advantage when it comes to room occupancy. They allow up to 5 people in a room, but this includes a combination of 2 adults, 2 children under 16, and a baby in a cot. Travelodge also permit 3 adults with one child or cot in the room.
In contrast, Premier Inn limits occupancy to 2 adults (16 years plus) and 2 children per room, though you can add a cot to this setup.
Interconnecting Rooms
Travelodge does not offer interconnecting rooms. If you book two rooms, they will try to place you close to each other but cannot guarantee this.
Premier Inn, however, offers interconnecting rooms in some locations. To secure these rooms, you need to call the individual hotel directly, but availability is not guaranteed.
